Zürich - In Zusammenarbeit mit DPD und dem Programm Total Zero werden sämtliche Druckprodukte von SAXOPRINT komplett CO₂-neutral versendet

Die klimaneutrale Produktion ist das oberste Ziel der Online-Druckerei SAXOPRINT. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, werden nicht nur interne Maßnahmen getroffen, sondern auch Dienstleister gewählt, welche die Druckerei auf diesem Weg unterstützten. DPD ist mit seinem CO₂-neutralen Projekt Total Zero einer dieser Partner.

Der klimaneutrale Versand besteht aus drei verschiedenen Faktoren. Zum ersten werden Pakete bei DPD bevorzugt auf dem emissionsärmeren Landweg geliefert und dabei immer mehr Elektrofahrzeuge und Fahrradkuriere eingesetzt. Zum zweiten wird in Zusammenarbeit mit dem TÜV SÜD der gesamte Ressourcenverbrauch (Strom-, Wasser-, Papier- und Kraftstoff) bei DPD optimiert und gesenkt. Für den Verbrauch, der nicht verhindert werden kann, betreibt DPD als drittes Standbein Emissionshandel. Sowohl lokale Projekte, wie die klimafreundliche Produktion von Tierfuttermittel, als auch internationale Umweltschutzprogramme, wie die Aufforstung in Kolumbien, werden durch Total Zero gefördert.

Als Online-Druckerei ist der klimaneutrale Versand für SAXOPRINT besonders wichtig, da alle Artikel über Pakete versendet werden. Über 700.000 Tonnen CO₂ wurden im letzten Jahr durch Total Zero kompensiert.
