The SNG station consist of an antenna with 1,0m diameter with 50W output power and allows the transmission of DVB-S or DVB-S2 video/audio signals. The system is designed to be independent of a van and can easily be mounted on standard roof mounts The novelty of the system is that the station will be locally only controlled by 4 push buttons, includes an satellite auto acquisition and pointing system and is fully remote controlled via the sat-nms NMS software The central Network Management System based on the sat-nms NMS software allows the full remote control of all stations from the SRG control center CNCT in Zurich Switzerland. This gives also non satellite operators on-site to perform an SNG up-link successfully.
Three more SNG station are just under production at SatService and will be ready for acceptance test end of September 2007.
