Announced in April 2009, the SAP Co-Innovation Lab Bangalore (see "SAP Expands Global Ecosystem With SAP® Co-Innovation Lab in Bangalore") is the latest addition to the coinnovation lab network, which joins the existing labs in Palo Alto, California, and Tokyo, Japan. The SAP Co-Innovation Lab Bangalore is the SAP storefront in India for coinnovation. It engages with frontrunner customers and partners as coinnovators with SAP, and enables the joint collaboration on projects spanning relevant endtoend business scenarios and technology solutions.
"India's strengths in technological innovation and development are greatly valued by SAP," said S. Singh Mecker, senior vice president and head of the Global Ecosystem and Partner Group for SAP AG. "The SAP Co-Innovation Lab Bangalore harnesses a tremendous pool of talent and experience for our customers' success. Arteria Technologies Creates Multiple Packaged Workflow Solutions Using SAP® Interactive Forms Software by Adobe
Arteria Technologies provides highvalue strategic IT management consulting services to an array of businesses and has operations in Australia, India, South Africa, South East Asia and the United States. Working in the handson collaborative environment of the coinnovation lab, Arteria has developed an "Interactive Advantage" solution that offers outofthebox packaged workflows coupled with Adobe Forms for corporate service; sales and marketing; procurement and materials management; and human capital management scenarios. Interactive Advantage is already available to SAP customers via SAP EcoHub. The solution provides partners and employees with personalized forms generated directly from SAP applications, while capturing data that can flow directly back to the SAP system, eliminating the need for errorprone, manual data input. Forms are customizable to meet specific business needs, and include automatic workflow trigger capability to maintain efficiency. Deployment time is reduced to only a few weeks per scenario, allowing customers to accelerate the speed of their corporate and human capital management operations. As these infrastructure needs are met, companies can focus more closely on gaining momentum in sales and outreach, while ensuring that their internal affairs are well managed.
"Our customers, who rely on us to continually deliver solutions with proven business value, have quickly recognized the benefits of the lab in Bangalore, as evidenced by the popularity of the Interactive Advantage solution," said Parag Jain, chief technology officer, Arteria Technologies. "Our rate of development is considerably faster when we work in the SAP Co-Innovation Lab, making it a perfect example of a winwin situation that benefits customers, partners and SAP."
