SALZBRENNER STAGETEC Audio Video Mediensysteme GmbH based in Buttenheim (Germany) focuses on highly integrated audio and video solutions for theatres and operas, multi-media presentation installations in museums, exhibition halls, convention centres, multi-purpose venues and large installations for broadcasting and professional video production.
One of the main activities of the company is the distribution of all products of the MEDIAGROUP. The comprehensive portfolio ranges from the VIVACE acoustics system to communication technology such as stage management and intercom systems and from controller systems for multimedia installations to the POLARIS touch series mixing desks.
Besides design and distribution of professional audio products the company is regarded as one of Europe's few leading general contractors and systems integrators in the world of pro audio with over 50 years of experience. More than 45 highly skilled project engineers design customised solutions that are meticulously executed from the detailed technical planning and engineering through to the installation and commissioning phases. Even projects with very tight time-tables, such as the replacement of a theatre's entire audio system during the summer break, are dependably finished on schedule.
STAGETEC Entwicklungsgesellschaft für professionelle Audiotechnik GmbH is the other co-founding company of the MEDIAGROUP. This independent corporation has specialised in the design of digital audio technology such as routing systems (product brands: NEXUS and NEXUS STAR) and professional mixing consoles (product brands AURUS, CRESCENDO, AURATUS, ON AIR 24).
STAGETEC, based in the German capital Berlin, is recognised as one of the leading pioneers in the age of transition from analogue to digital audio and has set new benchmarks over the last decades thanks to continuous research and development. The 2002 launch of its flagship console AURUS was a notable success with more than 200 systems sold worldwide to date. The AURUS reference list includes the most prestigious venues such as the Moscow Kremlin Palace (Russia), the "Bird's Nest" Olympic Stadium for the 2008 Beijing games (China), BMW's new automobile delivery and event centre at Munich (Germany), and the BBC Scotland broadcasting service headquarters in Glasgow (U.K.).
In 2006, the introduction of the compact mixing console AURATUS extended the product range for broadcast and theatre applications making STAGETEC's key benefits of superlative sound quality and ultimate reliability in professional use available in a compact, cost-effective console for a broad range of applications. In the following years, the mixing consoles CRESCENDO and ON AIR 24 followed so that STAGETEC is now offering a broad range from small to the largest mixing consoles.
The intercom technology market segment is served by DELEC Audio- und Videotechnik GmbH, part of the MEDIAGROUP since 2002. DELEC, based in Göllheim (Germany) was founded 1995 in response to the immense demand for intercom systems in broadcasting, TV-production, and theatres. Since then, DELEC has continuously advanced its position in the international market with its key products the oratis intercom and commentary systems. A modular concept based on plug-in boards and many different individual components make oratis a universal platform for a wide variety of applications. Thanks to its ingenious architecture with de-centralised intelligence on individual cross-point cards, the system is equally convincing for small-scale applications with as few as four stations as it is for large installations for more than 4,000 users.
DELEC is also serving the new market for Audio-over-IP applications and offers a new product family under the name NAM, acronym for Network Amplifier Module. NAM is a compact Dante™ decoder with integrated power amplification for easy monitoring of audio signals from Dante™ networks. Although introduced only in April 2013, already more than 500 NAM units have been delivered by now.
