50 years ago, Buttenheim entrepreneur Friedrich Salzbrenner established his first workshop for sound system maintenance and repair, laying the foundation for today's global SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP. Over the next five decades and with a lot of enthusiasm it consistently grew into a stable group of companies. SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP with its 15 German and international branches and around 20 distributors today is renowned as a specialist for providing equipment to radio and television broadcasters, theatres and concert halls, sport stadiums and many more fields that require professional audio technology.
Their products draw attention worldwide, for instance at BMW Welt in Munich, the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, the upcoming Winter Olympics in Sochi, the British BBC, and the ABC from Australia.
Instead of putting on festivities in Buttenheim, Friedrich Salzbrenner, who turned 80 in December 2012, decided to celebrate the anniversary with a donation: On 26 September he will present a cheque for EUR 10 000 to Mr Hans-Peter Krämer, Chairman of the German Cancer Aid, for the benefit of the Children's Cancer Charity.
The 50th anniversary in Buttenheim is not the only cause for celebration at the MEDIAGROUP this year. STAGETEC Entwicklungsgesellschaft will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in Berlin, and DELEC will be honouring its 25th anniversary in Göllheim. Congratulations, everyone!
