Mit dem SAP Quality Award würdigt SAP die qualitativ hochwertige Einführung von SAP EWM am Roche-Standort Mannheim. Die Preisverleihung findet am 09.12.2011 in der SAP-Arena in Mannheim statt.
Materialflusssteuerung im validierten Umfeld Roche hat in Mannheim einen neuen Lagerkomplex "Lager- und Abwicklungszentrum - LAZ" errichtet. Bestandteile sind ein 43 Meter hohes automatisches Hochregallager, ein manuelles Regallager für Kühl- und Tiefkühlware, ein Lager für Gefahrstoffe, manuelle Lager- und Versandbereitstellungsflächen sowie Kommissionier- und Packplätze für die logistische Abwicklung des Applied Science-Geschäftes. Insgesamt investierte Roche 58 Millionen Euro in das Bau- und IT-Projekt.
Zur Realisierung des Gesamtvorhabens, speziell die Lagerabwicklungen und die Materialflusssteuerung, wurde das neue Lagerverwaltungssystem SAP EWM auf Basis SCM 7.0 mit seiner MFS-Komponente im validierten Umfeld eingeführt. Das übergeordnete ERP-System basiert auf SAP R/3 Version 4.6C.
Wegeoptimierte Rundlaufbildung
Mit SAP EWM MFS erfolgt dabei die komplette Materialflusssteuerung des automatischen Hochregallagers inklusive der Regalbediengeräte. Die Steuerung erfolgt komplett über den SAP EWM MFS Standard - es wurden dabei keine zusätzlichen Materialflusskomponenten eingesetzt.
Neben der MFS-Steuerung gehört auch eine wegeoptimierte Rundlaufbildung bei der Kommissionierung zur Abwicklung des Applied Science-Geschäftes. Die Abbildung der komplexen Packanforderungen unter Berücksichtigung von Gefahrgutdaten, Transportdauer und speziellen Produktanforderungen erfolgt über die Nutzung des SAP EWM-Packalgorithmus.
Ein weiteres Rollout des SAP EWM mit einem Upgrade auf die neueste Version 7.02 findet derzeit bei Roche in Indianapolis in den USA statt. Auch hier ist die SALT Solutions GmbH als Implementierungspartner eingebunden.
