Unternehmensbereich Logistik wird weiter ausgebaut

Dr. Hans Christoph Dönges wechselt per 1. Oktober 2008 von der Dematic GmbH zur SALT Solutions GmbH nach Würzburg und wird Geschäftsbereichsleiter im Unternehmensbereich Logistik.
Bei Dematic leitete Dr. Dönges das Competence Center für IT-Anwendungen in der Logistik. Unter seiner Verantwortung wurden Logistikkonzepte entwickelt, die innovative Technologien wie RFID oder Pick-by-Voice mit IT-Anwendungen verbinden. Vorher leitete Dr. Dönges die Abteilung Business Development für Europa bei SiemensDematic und koordinierte die globalen RFID-Aktivitäten der Siemens AG.


Stärkung der RFID-Aktivitäten

Dr. Dönges wird als Geschäftsbereichsleiter die Nutzung moderner Technologien im Rahmen SAP-basierter Lösungen vorantreiben: „Es gibt ein enormes Potenzial, Logistikabläufe mit Technologieunterstützung effizienter und sicherer zu gestalten. Mein Ziel ist die Integration dieser Trendtechnologien in IT-Systeme für die Intralogistik“, sagt Dr. Dönges.
Erste Schritte werden die Entwicklung von Lösungskonzepten basierend auf Pick-by-Voice und RFID sowie die Definition und Planung von Produktentwicklungen im SAP-Umfeld sein.
