Die Linienführung des my800C springt auf den ersten Blick ins Auge: mit 16 Millimetern ist es ultraflach und mit 95 Gramm ein Fliegengewicht unter den aktuellen UMTS-Handys. Die kompakten Abmesungen von 96 x 49 Millimeter lassen das Gerät locker in der Hemdtasche verschwinden. Ein vertikaler Streifen mit Spiegelwirkung, der außen längs über das Handy läuft, unterstreicht das klare und elegante Design des my800C. Das “versteckte Display” meldet wichtige Informationen wie den Namen des Anrufers, das laufende Musikstück und eingegange Nachrichten.
Auf Reisen erweist sich das SAGEM my800C als unermüdlicher Wegbegleiter: Es vereint UMTS und EDGE, Tri-Band, SyncML sowie Bluetooth®-Technologie und verfügt über einen 16-MB-Speicher, der durch eine microSD-Karte erweitert werden kann. Der QVGA-Display stellt 262.000 Farben dar und gibt Bilder und Videoaufnahemen in brillanter Qualität wieder. Das Handy ist mit einer Vielzahl an Zubehörprodukten kompatibel, beispielsweise mit einem Bluetooth®-Stereoheadset. Damit kann der Besitzer online gehen oder das Handy als Modem nutzen. So ist das my800C auch in der Freizeit der perfekte Begleiter.
Das SAGEM my800C ist ab dem zweiten Quartal 2007 erhältlich und wird ohne Kartensubvention voraussichtlich unter 300 Euro kosten.
