VisionScan® is a modern, efficient and economical system that was developed by SAC GmbH for the highly-precise measurement of 2 D inspection objects. The system is based on standard scanners which are calibrated with a calibration procedure especially developed by SAC. The inspection objects range from rubber materials, plastic and aluminium sections to boards, foils, laser parts and punching parts.
After the system is calibrated, an inspection program is generated according to the automatically or manually made inspection plans (with tolerance).
The inspection object is scanned and the calliper / probe is adjusted according the particular inspection plan. VisionScan® controls the measurement process and detects all inspection dimensions. The comparison with given tolerances decides if an object is within or without the tolerances. This is immediately signalled. The multi-scan function allows the simultaneous measurement of several objects. The objects are placed simultaneously on the scanner.
All measurement data are logged and are available as file for the user for further data processing.
