At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of RWE AG appointed Dr. Bernhard Günther as a member of the Executive Board with effect from 1 July 2012. On 1 January 2013, Bernhard Günther will succeed Dr. Rolf Pohlig, who will retire from the company on 31 December 2012 after reaching the age of 60. In July, the Executive Board will decide on the distribution of areas of responsibility between Rolf Pohlig and Bernhard Günther.
