By the end of the year more than 60 employees had been trained in the classical Lean tools such as 5S, value stream mapping, process analysis and changeover time optimization and certified as project managers. Moreover, Six Sigma Green Belt training started for the first employees and will be completed in the very near future.
Rottendorf will intensively continue to pursue this Initiative in 2011 in order to manifold the achieved savings and efficiency improvements and to thus effectively contribute to the implementation of the business strategy.
