Personnel changes: Ben Hudson appointed to Executive Board of Rheinmetall Defence Pietro Borgo switches to Supervisory Board of RMMV GmbH

Effective on 1 January 2016, Ben Hudson has been appointed to the Executive Board of Rheinmetall Defence. He will represent the newly formed Vehicle Systems division, which he also heads. Mr Hudson hitherto served as managing director of Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and head of the Combat Platforms business unit. Prior to joining Rheinmetall, among other things he held executive posts at General Dynamics and BAE Systems.

Pietro Borgo stepped down from the Rheinmetall Defence Executive Board on 1 January 2016 owing to reasons of age. However, he continues to guide the company’s fortunes as a member of the Supervisory Board of RMMV as well as advising the Chairman of the Executive Board on major projects. Along with RMMV projects currently underway in Algeria and Poland, Mr Borgo is overseeing the start of production for large-scale orders from Australia, Norway and Sweden at the company’s Vienna plant.
