Über das „Goldene Zunftzeichen“ der Tischlerinnung Vechta darf sich Remmers-Handelsvertreter Uwe Walkenhorst freuen. Im Rahmen des von 50 Innungsmitgliedern besuchten Kohlessens in Hogenbögen bei Visbek erhielt er aus den Händen von Obermeister Andreas Theilen die Auszeichnung. Grund dafür war nicht nur seine jahrelange Gastmitgliedschaft in der Innung, sondern auch sein enger fachlicher Kontakt. „Als kompetenter Fachmann für Oberflächenbearbeitungen von Haustüren, Fenstern, Möbeln und Treppen ist Uwe Walkenhorst ein verlässlicher Partner, der den Tischlermeistern auch bei Problemen stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht.“ so die Begründung der Tischlerinnung. Zu den ersten Gratulanten gehörten der stellvertretende Innungsmeister Gregor Meyer sowie Sandra Sommer, stellvertretende Geschäftsführerin der Kreishandwerkerschaft Vechta.

Walkenhorst ist seit 2004 für die Remmers GmbH, den Premium-Anbieter von Holzbeschichtungsprodukten, tätig. Neben der Tischlerinnung Vechta betreut er vom Standort Bad Essen bei Osnabrück aus Remmers-Kunden in den Landkreisen Nienburg, Verden, Delmenhorst, Diepholz und Oldenburg.
