Flat roof mounting system improved: Delta Wing Mono²

Improved aerodynamics and price-performance

(PresseBox) (Rottenburg/Laaber, )
The REM company from Rottenburg on the Laaber has optimized its flat roof mounting system, the new name: Delta Wing Mono². The low ballast PV substructure for south-facing roofs is mounted without penetration of the roof skin which preserves the tightness of the building.

The new aerodynamic design of the Delta Wing Mono² achieves a reduction of the required ballasting in the edge and corner areas to a minimum. The already low ballast fastening system is specially suited for flat roofs with low load capacities.
The material savings are another improvement: The modular system is composed of only four components and screws that can be built together. Apart from its easier and quicker installation, the system, therefore, impresses customers due to a better cost effectiveness. Another new feature is the clamping of the modules on the long sides of the substructure. So all framed modules can be used without any problems and additional approval of the module producer.

The mounting system Delta Wing was already launched on the market in 2010 as one of the first low ballast flat roof systems without penetration of the roof skin. That is why we can look back on a two-year success story of our mounting system, which has a very high market acceptance.

Besides the Delta Wing Mono² the REM company also has a system variation for roofs facing east-west: Delta Wing Duo. Both versions have an inclination of 15° and are considered by the manufacturer to be an optimal alternative to module self-cleaning.

The planning of the mounting system can be carried out by the customer himself. REM GmbH developed an own construction programme for the Delta Wing System. The user-friendly software can be requested from the manufacturer.
