REHAU has expanded its product portfolio following the successful market launch of its new SYNEGO window profile system. Profiles for front door and lift/slide doors are an effective addition to the range – in future, SYNEGO will enable all “gaps” in facades to be closed.
Two-in-one
SYNEGO combines the stopper seal and center-seal design into a single window system, thereby allowing customers to meet all market requirements in an efficient manner without requiring an unnecessarily large stock of profiles. The stopper seal design has a Uf value of 1.0 W/m²K in the standard version. With a Uw value of 0.8 W/m²K, the selected center-seal profile combinations are – even in the standard design – certified to passive house standards in accordance with ift guideline WA 15/2.
SYNEGO is ideal for use in a triple thermal glazing installation of up to 51 millimeters thanks to its forward-thinking depth of 80 millimeters. A range of installation options in new buildings and as part of renovation work lend the system a high level of flexibility that enables customers to respond to various requirements accordingly. Window elements reaching heights of up to 2.5 meters can be built without any complications. Furthermore, REHAU adhesive technology renders the development of even larger elements possible as well. The streamlined profile view of just 117 millimeters in the standard SYNEGO profile package guarantees large glass surfaces and a modern appearance. For an even more streamlined central section, REHAU now offers a new secondary sash with a facing width of just 114 millimeters, thereby making balcony doors with barrier-free door sills a viable option.
NEW: Lift/slide door with panoramic sash
The new SYNEGO lift/slide door system will be the latest addition to this line of products and will be available from the second half of 2016. SYNEGO enables customers to respond to all market requirements and find an efficient solution for every facade opening. Thanks to the new system, lift/slide doors of up to 2.7 meters in height and 10 meters in width can be installed in an especially economical manner. As well as standard sashes, panoramic sashes are an optional element with a very narrow frame to provide exceptional lighting through large glass surfaces.
The SYNEGO lift/slide door system is suitable for all conventional opening configurations. It also offers a great deal of design freedom thanks to a broad range of designs, from aluminum wall facings and lamination to paint finishes.

A Ud value of up to 1.2 W/m²K means that heat stays in the house and lowers energy costs over the long term. To make the system even more multifaceted, the front door is now available in a center-seal design.
