"The 4,000 specialised visitors showed great interest towards renewable energy in Romania. 120 exhibitors from 15 European countries enjoyed three days of successful and new contacts that will lead both to market development at a national level and to fruitful business. Among the topics of the event there were: wind energy, solar energy, hydropower, bioenergy, energy efficient construction and renovation, cogeneration and passive house. The Wind and Solar Park represented a separate part of the fair, where 56 exhibitors from this area were easily found by the special visitors. Among the exhibiting companies were: Gamesa, Siemens, Prenecon, Producie Energie Verde, Eurosat, Turboden, Gehrlicher Solar, Enercon GmbH, Wind Power Energy, Global Wind Power SRL, Energobit Group SA and many others.
The official opening ceremony of the fair was held by Mr. Borbely Laszlo - Minister of Environment and Forests, together with Liviu BUZILA - Head of UK Trade & Investment and Avena Gall-Tamas, general manager of REECO RO EXPOZIII SRL.
The six conferences and 2 workshops that took place in parallel with the fair, attracted over 550 participants from across the country and also from Belgium, Germany, France, Bulgaria, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Spain and England but also from Israel, Africa and China.
At the 3rd International Conference - Solar Energy in Romania, attended key players form European level as Pedro Diaz - Deputy Secretary General ESTIF - European Federation of Solar Thermal Industry, Pedro Pereira - Regional Manager
- Mediterranean, Martifer Solar SA, Tassilo WOLFRAM - Head of Projects and Eastern Europe, REC Solar Germany GmbH and many others.
An important point of interest for both visitors and exhibitors were the 2 workshops, wind turbine manufacturers forum and exhibitors forum, in which companies presented their products and services.
The event had the purpose beside informing the specialists to educate the public by promoting solar toys and universities dealing with renewable energy research.
To give continuity to this event, the REECO group will organize next spring the 4th edition of ENREG ENERGIA REGENERABILA®, 25-27 April 2012 which will take place in Arad, following that in November 2012 to return with the 5th edition of RENEXPO® SOUTH-EAST EUROPE to Bucharest.
