Die neue Matrox Iris P300H verfügt über einen ultraschnellen monochromen CCD-Sensor (640 x 480 @ 100 fps 1/3"-Typ), der besonders geeignet ist für Inspektionsanwendungen mit einfachen Anforderungen an Bildanalyse bzw. Bildverarbeitung der Bilder - aber hohe Bandbreiten brauchen.

Die Matrox Iris P300H basiert auf einem Ultra Low Power (ULP) Celeron® Prozessor mit embedded Intel® Architektur. Sie läuft unter dem Echtzeitverarbeitungssystem Windows® CE.NET und wird mit Microsoft Visual® C++ programmiert.
OEMs und Systemintegratoren können ihre Anwendungen mit der Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) erstellen, dem besten industriellen Entwicklungswerkzeug für Bildverarbeitungslösungen, und sie direkt auf der Matrox Iris P300H laufen lassen.

Die Matrox Iris P-Serie ist eine Smart Kamera, die die Flexibilität von PC-basierten Systemen für die Bildverarbeitung unterstützt. Sie verfügt sowohl über Hardware für die Bildabtastung als auch über eine Programmierschnittstelle (API /application programming interface) für die Bildanalyse.
