Temporary discounts on LiDAR measurements

BBB’s wind laboratory in Weiden/Germany moves to new office

(PresseBox) (Gelsenkirchen, ) On the occasion of their move to a new office the accredited wind resource department of BBB Umwelttechnik GmbH grants special discounts of up to 20 percent on LiDAR measurements. The discount shall be offered during a three-month period and can only be granted to a limited number of clients. The rate of discount depends on the duration of the rental.

By means of the laser-based measurement system wind resources at a potential project site can be evaluated with high precision. The LiDAR units are integrated in a small trailer and are equipped with a self-sufficient power supply using photovoltaic and fuel cells. They can easily be moved to almost every site within few days and can be commissioned without applying for permissions.

The new office for the wind resource department of the Germany-based engineering consultancy offers a better communication infrastructure, more space for the employees, a workshop area and a laboratory for the configuration and maintenance of the LiDAR measurement systems. Eventually, there is also enough room for the further growth of the company.
