prudsys at NEOCOM 2014: Specialist for omnichannel personalization presents new major release 3.6 of the prudsys RDE

prudsys AG presents the latest features of its realtime business solution prudsys RDE for a unique shopping experience at NEOCOM (stand 440) on 29 and 30 October 2014 in Düsseldorf.

(PresseBox) (Chemnitz, ) prudsys AG is set to present a variety of new features of the prudsys RDE’s new major release 3.6 at NEOCOM 2014, one of the largest information and business platforms for omnichannel trade. The realtime business solution makes it possible for dealers to address their own customers in a personalized manner at all touchpoints, offering them a unique shopping experience.

Sales leverage: Avoiding shopping basket cancellations and boosting search result lists

The prudsys RDE | Scoring module has further optimised the implementation of the “Shopping basket cancellation forecast” scenario. It thus version also incorporates information for the process “Remove product from shopping basket” in order to convert the online shop visitor into a purchaser within a very short period of time and to avoid shopping basket cancellations. With newly introduced control attributes (gift certificate, free item, free shipping) the prudsys RDE provides the best advertising medium, customised for each session.

The personalised search, provided by the RDE | Search module, offers other new features including the boosting function. More attributes (e.g. age and selling strength of a product) were added to provide custom weighting of search results. We also optimised synonym replacement and the function for filter logic even further to generate even better search results. For the first time, the RDE | Search module enables transaction-based search, i.e. during the course of a product search, items are recommended to potential buyers based on that buyer’s previous behaviour in the online shop (clicks, orders, sales) and according to which items generate the most sales.

High conversion rate thanks to new recommendation types and performance enhancement

Optimized features in the prudsys RDE | Recommendations module include location-specific recommendations. This means that the location of the customer is taken into account when calculating the recommendation. With Release 3.6 of the RDE the location is sent directly along with the recommendation retrieval, flexibly integrating locations into the shop in a variety of ways.

In terms of the efficient use of a personalised approach in omnichannel trade, the “channel” is becoming increasingly important in customer classification. Effective immediately, the “channel” through which the customer enters the shop will be taken into account in prudsys RDE calculations.
Release 3.6 of the RDE brings with it the availability of the purchase-based recommendation types “Ordered Together” and “Ordered Together Generalized” in the prudsys RDE | Newsletter module. This means it is now also possible to use purchasing relations for the recommendations in newsletter campaigns in the newsletter.

The performance of the prudsys RDE has also been further enhanced: Huge amounts of data are handled in high performance environments. To save computing time, different work steps were optimized: Individual RDE nodes can be eliminated from the auto-save rules which lead to faster system start-up.

Improvement in the user-friendliness of the prudsys RDE user interface

The RDE Release 3.6 brought along an improvement in usability as well. In addition to presenting statistics in table form, figures were also displayed in diagrams. A reworked tree structure and login function and the expansion of statistics by adding new parameters guarantee additional benefits for shop operators.
