Most product searches in online shops generate content-based results, in other words products that are similar to the search term. For the first time, the prudsys RDE | Search module enables transaction-based searches. During the course of a product search, the items recommended to potential buyers are based on previous behaviour in the online shop (clicks, shopping baskets) and generate the highest turnover. Thanks to prudsys RDE realtime learning, product recommendations that actually correspond to visitors’ interests are displayed. Personalised searching thus takes on a key role. In addition to this novelty, users of the prudsys search function also benefit from other functions including auto-suggest, fuzzy and wildcard search and after-search navigation.
In his lecture “Realtime personalisation in multi-channel trade” at Internet World, Jan Lippert, Head of Sales at prudsys, provides insight into the world of realtime analysis. The public learns how an individual approach in the online shop, via the newsletter, mobile devices or in retail can be used to achieve long-term increases in sales. The lecture takes place on 26.2.2014 at 12:30 pm in Infoarena II.
