The student teams had six weeks to develop a solution for a data mining problem on the topic of optimal return prognosis. More specifically, the goal was to use an online shop’s historical purchase data to come up with a model for new orders that would calculate the probability of a purchase leading to a return. Attractive cash and other prizes await the winners.
Prizes will be awarded to the best DMC teams during the prudsys User Days 2014, which take place from 2-3 July 2014 at andel‘s Hotel in Berlin. This year’s prudsys customer and partner event goes by the motto “Omnichannel Personalisation: Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere“. Numerous companies including 1.2.3.tv, creatrade, ECC Handel, Klingel and Stabilo report on challenges and business cases in omnichannel trade. It is not necessary to be a prudsys customer to attend the event.
