Worldwide response at the 15th DATA MINING CUP – Awards presented during the prudsys User Days from 2-3 July 2014
The 15th DATA MINING CUP competition came to a close on 14th May 2014. 125 teams from 28 countries took part in the globally established student competition for intelligent data analysis. The awards presentation will take place on 2 July in Berlin
The student teams had six weeks to develop a solution for a data mining problem on the topic of optimal return prognosis. More specifically, the goal was to use an online shop’s historical purchase data to come up with a model for new orders that would calculate the probability of a purchase leading to a return. Attractive cash and other prizes await the winners.
