Günther Direct Services not only turns Customers into Winners

Günther Direct Services GmbH optimises mailing campaigns for their customers with the prudsys DISCOVERER and hereby doubles activity results.

Chemnitz, (PresseBox) - GDS has introduced the classification software of the Data Mining specialist prudsys AG in order to optimise mailing campaigns and to predict cancellations.

Now Günther Direct Service GmbH has revealed first results after the implementation of the prudsys DISCOVERER. The Bamberg-based company has reached a significant increase of response rates of its most profitable marketing measures by the use of the Data Mining system.

„Through the deployment of the des prudsys DISCOVERER we can exactly identify customer segments with strong response and present them the right offer. This has resulted into a duplication of the results in the last season,” said Michael Christof, Head of Database Marketing at Günther Direct Services GmbH.

Responsible for this result are primarily the powerful classification methods implemented into the prudsys DISCOVERER (e.g. Sparse Grids) which are especially applicable to large data volumes. At this, the prudsys DISCOVERER automatically generates Sparse Grid models which are integrated by the PMML Applicator into the existing IT processes. The PMML Applicator can apply these models to a multitude of data sources.

Furthermore, the prudsys DISCOVERER is the only software tool that can generate decision trees of the third generation (linear and non-linear ones) for the highest prediction quality. Thus makes it the right instrument to generate high-quality customer profiles and scoring models.

„The main criteria’s for the selection of the right software for our target group and mailing optimisation were the technological know-how as well as the easy integration of the system into our IT infrastructure. The newest sales figures are the best proof that our decision for the prudsys DISCOVERER was right,” added Michael Christof.
