World Record Trip 2014 Munich – Berlin
From 4th through the 8th of December 2014 with a 7,5 t commercial vehicle with hybrid fuel cell / battery-electric system (HyRange®) made by Proton Motor, the distance Munich-Berlin is covered first time in history completely silent and emission free
The record trip comes to an end at CTI-Symposium in Berlin where the fuel cell system will be presented to international public. Then the vehicle and system has to meet additional challenges on the ADAC-test track in Berlin.
HyRange® is a hydrogen fuel cells based, hybrid system for electrical battery driven commercial vehicles and buses and is an effective support for areas of application where existing battery capacity is insufficient. The system has been developed as a modular solution ensuring a broad range of application across a variety of platforms. The only emission produced during operation is a small amount of clean, warm water. No harmful substances are produced.
