Together with its German Distributor ProSoft, Safend will exhibit at the CeBIT show in Germany (March 4th-9th) in Hall 6, booth K56. This year the special focus will be on the presentation of the new version 3.3 of Safend Auditor and Protector which will be released in March 08. Safend Auditor is a lightweight, intuitive, clientless software utility that illuminates enterprise endpoint blind spots – providing organizations with the visibility they need to identify and effectively manage endpoint vulnerabilities. Safend Protector is the most comprehensive, secure and easy-to-use endpoint information leakage prevention solution - controlling every endpoint and every device, over every interface.
In version 3.3 it is now possible to set policies requiring shadowing of all data on each of the inbound and outbound channels separately as well as require shadowing for specific file types. Administrators are allowed to mandate the encryption of data transferred to external hard drives as well as CD/DVD media. In order to handle the growing amounts as well as provide redundancy and high availability, it is now possible to install several Management Servers which seamlessly share the load of traffic from the endpoints as well as serve as a hot backup for each other. Large Organizations are now able to define a role based access to the Safend Protector console to allow Sub-Administrators only actions to parts of the network he is responsible for. The Safend Protector client can be installed now also on Windows XP 64-bit operating system endpoints.
