Turbo für die Schweißkonstruktion durch Kopplung von PRO.FILE mit SolidWorks

Das Product- and Document Lifecycle Management (PLM/DMS)-System PRO.FILE unterstützt ab sofort SolidWorks 2017 und bereichert die Integration mit innovativen Funktionen

Bei dem Blockheizkraftwerkhersteller 2G Energy AG ist PRO.FILE mit der neuen Kopplung zu SolidWorks bereits im Einsatz. Es ist eine Funktion des CAD-Systems zur Erstellung von Rahmen und Unterbauten im Maschinen- und Anlagenbau. Stücklisten für solche Baugruppen enthalten in SolidWorks Sägeteile mit gleicher Artikelnummer und einer Sägelänge als Angabe für die Fertigung. Die Sägeteile sind in SolidWorks keine echten Teile, sondern virtuelle Komponenten. Die Integration von PRO.FILE mit SolidWorks erstellt nun aus der SolidWorks-Stückliste eine so genannte Sägeliste, die über PRO.FILE verfügbar ist.

So muss dort keine neue Artikelnummer, sondern nur die entsprechende Baugruppe angelegt werden – für die Konstrukteure ein großer, Zeit sparender Mehrwert und ein Meilenstein für alle Anwender, die dieses Modul in SolidWorks nutzen wollen. Für 2G Energy ist es jetzt möglich, viel genauer voraus zu planen und Schweißkonstruktionen vorzufertigen. Das Unternehmen reduziert die Einsätze von Schweißern auf den Baustellen vor Ort und bildet stattdessen Units als vormontierte Einheiten ab. Diese werden dann vor Ort mit optimalem Aufwand montiert und in Betrieb genommen.
