Neue Version 3.1. der Dokumentenaustausch-Plattform PROOM

PROCAD optimiert im aktuellen PROOM-Release den gesteuerten Austausch von technischen Dokumenten

Der Anbieter für Product- and Document Lifecycle Management PROCAD veröffentlicht im September das neue Release seiner Dokumentenaustausch-Plattform PROOM. Die Schnittstellen in die Microsoft Office Umgebung wurden darin verbessert und ausgebaut.

Neu ist unter anderem die Möglichkeit, eine Datei aus PROOM heraus direkt im passenden Microsoft Office-Programm zu bearbeiten und als neue Version wieder im jeweiligen Projektraum zu speichern. Außerdem wurden bestehende Funktionen der Branchenlösung für den Dokumentenaustausch in technischen Unternehmen optimiert.

PROCAD stärkt mit den neuen Funktionen nochmals die Position von PROOM als Dateiaustausch-Plattform speziell für technische Unternehmen. PROOM ersetzt klassische E-Mail- oder FTP-Lösungen durch moderne virtuelle Projekträume und wird wahlweise als SaaS-Lösung oder alternativ auch als Private Cloud auf den kundeneigenen Servern angeboten. Das Ziel von PROOM ist, das Versenden von relevanten Dateien in technischen Unternehmen per E-Mail-Anhang gänzlich zu ersetzen durch ein gesteuertes, vertrauliches und nachvollziehbares Teilen der Dateien.
