The certification process was successfully completed in July. CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) is a reference model for improving the method of operating in organizations and assessing the maturity level of process efficiency. Accrediting POET Egypt with level 3 of the maturity model is a strong confirmation of the quality, service performance, and process competence within the company, which is especially beneficial to the customer acquisition for POET Egypt in third-party projects.
The acceptance and accreditation of Egypt POET LLC for CMMI Level 3 is issued by the Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute (SEI), USA. Achieving CMMI L3 covers important quality characteristics for efficient software development processes, such as transparent project management, project status updates, iterative and agile development approaches, test automation, and code review practices
POET Egypt LLC was founded in 2005 during the relocation of development and testing services of POET AG to Alexandria, Egypt. According to Dr. Jacob Karszt, chairman and CEO of POET, the newly awarded certificate underlines the high level of competence and confidence in POET Egypt.
