Android is Talking Business

MobiSystems OfficeSuite for Android now available at AndroidGear.com

Munich, (PresseBox) - With the launch of Android in late 2008, a brand-new and powerful OS dares the established smartphone platforms such as Windows Mobile ®, BlackBerry RIM ® and SymbianOS ®. One of the biggest challenges for a newly launched OS is to catch up with the vast variety of applications already available for competing platforms. The Android community today takes a big step towards business compatibility with the release of MobiSystems OfficeSuite 1.0 for Android, now available at AndroidGear.com. OfficeSuite is currently the most complete document viewer application for Android, enabling users to open native DOC, DOCX, TXT, XLS, XLSX, CSV, PPT, PPTX, PPS, PPSX and PDF files and attachments.

OfficeSuite for Android is available at AndroidGear.com, PocketGear's software portal for the Android platform. A trial-version enables users to test the app before purchasing. The top-selling OfficeSuite versions for SymbianOS ® and Palm OS ® can be found at other PocketGear storefronts including SymbianGear.com and PalmGear.com

The fully-featured OfficeSuite program with viewing and editing features will be available this fall. Any customer that purchases a license key for OfficeSuite Viewer will be entitled to a special discount for the complete OfficeSuite.

AndroidGear.com offers a wide range of freeware and commercial applications for Android-powered smartphones based on Google's open source operating system.
