Preview for Pickering Nepcon Birmingham Show, - Booth J 57 / Pickering Interfaces presents the ULTRA High Density MATRIX 40-581

Winner of EE Times’ Ultimate Products Award 2007

(PresseBox) (Sasbach, )
Amongst other new products we would like to highlight :

The world’s highest density 2-pole single slot 3U PXI Matrix Module 40-581 has 264 cross-points configured as a 33 x 8 matrix. The use of high density electro-mechanical relays means that this module represents a low cost high density matrix solution with current handling up to 1 Amp. The 40-581 was voted the Test & Measurement winner in the recent EE Times Ultimate Products awards.
The module is suitable for matrix applications where two signals are required to be switched simultaneously, for example send and return signals in a telecoms system. It is also suitable for applications where reed relay based matrices do not have sufficient power handling capability.
Larger matrices may be constructed by daisy-chaining the common signals from multiple PXI modules. However, for applications that require a very large matrix, Pickering Interfaces’ BRIC™ modules may be better suited. Technical data in brief:

- World’s Highest Density Single-Slot PXI 2-pole Matrix module
- Maximum Current 1A, Hot or Cold Switching
- Switch up to 150Volts with 60W Max Power
- Very Cost Competitive
- Partially Populated Configurations Available
- VISA/IVI Drivers Supplied for Windows 2000/NT/XP
- Leaded Relays for Ease of Maintenance & Repair
- Also supported by Pickering’s 60-100 LXI Chassis
- 2 Year Warranty
