Präzision ist das Leitmotto - damals wie heute. Seit 1973 ist Physik Instrumente (PI) ununterbrochen als Aussteller auf der LASER World of PHOTONICS vertreten. Jetzt feierte die Weltleitmesse der Laser- und Photonik-Branche ihr 40-jähriges Bestehen und zeichnete PI mit einem Preis für seine langjährige Teilnahme aus.

Damals startete PI als Hersteller optischer Bänke und Zubehör für die Laserstrahlführung. Heute nimmt das Unternehmen als Weltmarktführer für Nanopositionierung an der Messe teil und präsentiert Produkte und komplette Systemlösungen für die optische Messtechnik und Materialbearbeitung. Damals wie heute gilt: Die LASER World of Photonics ist für PI die wichtigste Leitmesse im Bereich der Lasertechnologie.

In diesem Jahr zeigte PI zum ersten Mal gemeinsam mit der Tochterfirma PI miCos weit über 300 Exponate einschließlich 25 Produktneuheiten, 18 SpaceFAB- und Hexapodvarianten und 16 Produktlinien mit Piezomotorantrieb.
