Die Münze ist eine Neuheit auf dem Anlagemarkt, da sie sich als weltweit erste ihrer Art dem berühmten Komponisten der Wiener Klassik widmet. Gefertigt wird das neuartige Anlageprodukt sowohl in Gold als auch in Silber. „Die neuen Münzen haben einen besonders hohen Reinheitsgrad von 999,99 bei Gold und 999,9 bei Silber, was auf dem Markt noch eine Seltenheit ist. Natürlich sind die Münzen LBMA zertifiziert und entsprechen somit höchsten Qualitäts- und Umweltstandards.“, erklärt Geschäftsführer Rudolf Brenner.
Auf der Vorderseite zeigt die Münze das Porträt des Wunderkindes Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756–1791). Umrahmt wird sein Bild von Notenblättern und Federkiel. In die Rückseite ist eine Ansicht der Stadt Salzburg, Mozarts Geburts- und Wohnort, eingeprägt. Der Nominalwert der Münzen wird in US Dollar ausgewiesen.
