With this solution the sewing time is significantly reduced because the zig-zag bars may be sewn at a higher speed. The zig-zag seam design is not generated via the jig drive. The machine is also equipped with a new part set for ready-made pocket flaps. The insertion of the pocket flap was optimized resp. simplified for this new part set which saves a lot of time. The PFAFF 3588-16/031 permits sewing pockets with pocket flaps and pockets without pocket flaps with just ONE jig. Switching the jig is no longer required.
