Mit Jahresbeginn lädt das ostwestfälische Unternehmen wieder Fachpublikum in sein Forum, das Seminarzentrum des Unternehmens, ein. Der Dialog aus Forschung und Praxis wird den Besuchern auch in diesem Jahr vielfältige Einblicke in die Entwässerungstechnik ermöglichen.
Theorie und Praxis in der Wasserwirtschaft - manchmal nicht vereinbar?
Viele Jahre erleben wir nun Jahrhunderthochwasser auf Jahrhunderthochwasser. Die Entwässerungsnormen haben darauf reagiert und die Bemessungsregen-spenden wurden angepasst. Doch welche weiteren Konsequenzen ergeben sich dadurch für Kommunen, Planer und die Versicherungswirtschaft? Welche Rolle spielt der Rückstauschutz und wie sehen juristische Konsequenzen für Hausbesitzer und kommunale Betreiber aus?
All dies sind Aspekte, die die öffentlichen Kanalnetzbetreiber interessieren sollten und aus denen Potentiale in der Privatwirtschaft entstehen. Die praktische Umsetzung steht dabei genauso auf der Agenda, wie die gezielte und abgestimmte Risikokommunikation der Kommunen hin zu ihren Bürgern. Die Normung sagt aus, dass ein "totaler Schutz vor Vernässungen" nicht gewährleistet werden kann - der OWL-Abwassertag wird daher darauf abzielen, Schadensrisiken aufzuzeigen und zu minimieren.
