Osram today announced the appointment of James L. Johnson as Chief Executive Officer of its new business unit Classic Lamps & Ballasts (CLB). The appointment follows the reorganization of Osram's reporting segment Lamps & Components that was announced in April and became effective May 1. The traditional business of the former reporting segment is now bundled in the Classic Lamps & Ballasts unit.
