mobilkom austria has deployed Orga Systems’ OPSC real-time billing system and OBMS Bonus Management System at its mobile subsidiary in Serbia (Vip mobile).
Orga Systems has enabled mobilkom austria to launch Serbias newest operator Vip mobile, which offers advanced mobile services. mobilkom austria won the third GSM 900/1800 and UMTS (3G) license in Serbia in November 2006. The license conditions included a requirement to launch operations within six months. Therefore it was important for Vip mobile to be launched without delay.
“Vip mobile aimed to start the new mobile license operations in Serbia without delay. We intend to take advantage of experience within the mobilkom austria group selecting trusted vendors like Orga Systems to support our successful operation. The new contract builds upon a successful and long-standing relationship between mobilkom austria group and Orga Systems in Europe. mobilkom austria has been using Orga System’s OPSC Billing System since 1997 to handle real-time billing of its B-FREE and prepaid Vodafone live! customers in Austria.
