Storage Management: OPTIMAL SYSTEMS Achieves Certification with the Dell DX Object Storage Platform

(PresseBox) (Berlin, )
OPTIMAL SYSTEMS' ECM suite is now certified with the Dell DX Object Storage Platform via API level integration.

In order to permanently retain corporate data, OS|ECM – like every other archiving software – needs physical fixed storage to capture and store this data. To meet this necessity in an optimal way, OPTIMAL SYSTEMS, in its capacity as software vendor and solution provider, has cooperated for many years with selected technology partners whose product catalogs include suitable storage solutions for audit-proof long-term archiving of data and documents. "We are happy that we are now Dell certified technology partners. With the Dell DX Object Storage Platform, data can be seamlessly integrated with our enterprise content management suite OS|ECM. Now OS|ECM users can securely archive data and documents cost-efficiently to help meet long-term retention requirements," says Sven Sauer, CIO at OPTIMAL SYSTEMS.

Data volumes are growing exponentially, and Dell has an evolutionary and comprehensive storage strategy to help you regain control. Dell’s storage portfolio includes platforms, software, applications and services that are designed to give you efficiency and visibility into your organization’s data access and usage requirements so that you can align storage tiering and management policies to the changing business value of information.
In order to deal with all challenges associated with saving data and documents, Dell has developed the DX Object Storage Platform in the framework of the Dell storage strategy which offers peer scaling architecture and is based on industry-standard hardware
