OPEN MIND Technologies AG, one of the leading CAD/CAM software developers, can look back on a very successful trade fair appearance. EMO certainly lived up to its claim as the world's leading trade fair: OPEN MIND has rarely had as many foreign fair visitors to its stand as it did this year. Among the visitors were many existing users of the hyperMILL® CAM solution that were interested to meet OPEN MIND staff and learn about the recent release of hyperMILL 2013.
Discussions were focused on the new features and improvements in hyperMILL® 2013, although hyperCAD®-S was also a recurring topic. The newly developed CAD software and a designer bicycle constructed with it stood firmly in the limelight. The promise of a CAD solution specially optimized for CAM users aroused curiosity and fair visitors appeared impressed.
A custom Harley-Davidson motorcycle from Thunderbike also proved to be a real eye-catcher. The motorbike served as a showpiece that prompted discussions about milling strategies. Many of the motorbike's spectacular components were programmed with hyperMILL®.
