OPEN MIND has identified Russia as a strategic market for digital manufacturing, giving rise to plans to build a direct presence in this region. In January 2012 sales manager Slava Botsvine started his assignment of breaking into the CIS market with a focus on Russia.

Prior to this, Slava Botsvine was managing director of the authorised OPEN MIND sales partner CAD/CAM Works based in Salzkotten, Germany. Since 1 January 2012, Botsvine has been in charge of establishing OPEN MIND offices in the CIS region.

"Thanks to his outstanding knowledge of the market, experience with CAM products and full command of the language, Slava Botsvine is the ideal partner for building up a local presence in this highly attractive region," says Volker Nesenhöner, CEO of OPEN MIND Technologies AG.

"Russia and the CIS states represent a highly promising growth region, and local companies are very interested in technology that allows them to introduce greater flexibility into their production workflows," says Slava Botsvine. "hyperCAD® and hyperMILL® from OPEN MIND are market-leading CAD/CAM solutions for highly efficient and cost-effective manufacturing."
