Die OPEN MIND Technologies AG, einer der führenden Entwickler von CAD-/CAM-Software und Postprozessoren, präsentiert sich am 19. und 20. Juni 2013 auf der wfb, der Fachmesse für Werkzeug- und Formenbau in Siegen. Am Stand S12.05/10 der in der Siegerlandhalle veranstalteten Regionalfachmesse zeigt OPEN MIND die CAM-Software hyperMILL® in der Version 2013 sowie hyperCAD-S®, eine CAD-Software speziell für die Belange von CAM-Anwendern.

Wer sich im Werkzeug- und Formenbau positionieren will, muss heutzutage vor allem kurzfristig höchste Qualität liefern können. hyperMILL® 2013 macht den Formenbau durch intelligente Bearbeitungsstrategien noch effizienter. Neue Strategien für das Fräsdrehen mit Keramikwerkzeugen oder das neue Tangentialfräsen mit einem Tonnenfräser sind Beispiele dafür, wie CAM-Software hilft, die Möglichkeiten verbesserter Werkzeuge erst richtig auszuschöpfen.

Mit hyperCAD-S® stellt OPEN MIND seine eigenentwickelte CAD-Software vor, die speziell auf die Aufgaben eines NC-Programmierers zugeschnitten ist. Viele Direkt- und Standardschnittstellen sorgen für einen reibungslosen Datenimport und -export.
