Onlineprinters, the Franconian provider of online printing services, continues its expansion: "We are glad about the sound growth of our order volume which allows us to include 18 temporary workers in our permanent staff by 1st July this year", Alexander Swoboda, HR manager of Onlineprinters GmbH, comments on the latest staff figures.

The Onlineprinters workforce in the production and sales departments thus totals 430 employees midyear - around 80 employees more than a year ago. Some 50 staff members still belong to the pool of temporary staff to cover order peaks. Unlike other online dealers, the Middle-Franconian Onlineprinters GmbH actually produces the digital and offset printed products which are marketed in the international online shops all over Europe. Qualified employees are an essential pillar of the company's success which received the "Bayerns Best 50" award as a reliable employer, model and motivator among Bavarian medium-sized enterprises. "We as a company set great store by being a reliable partner to our employees, customers and suppliers alike". Therefore, our ideal is to give permanent contracts to people who work long-time in our company. We are aware that working as a temp initially requires patience and diligence, but these qualities are rewarded with a secure job", the HR manager points out.

Onlineprinters is one of the TOP 5 online print shops in Europe

The German e-commerce company, which markets printed products over the Internet, is now one of the biggest online print shops in Europe and continues to grow in Europe. The headquarters in the Middle-Franconian town of Neustadt an der Aisch boasts 85 printing machines on an area of 40,000 square metres that produce printed products in a total print run of 2.5 billion each year which are sent to 250,000 customers. Qualified and well-trained employees are the prerequisite for the state-of-the-art production and IT-based order processing via the online shop. "Contrary to the general trend in the printing industry, we are building skilled personnel. For example, 60 offset print engineers work in our production department. We are presently training four 'print media engineers' who are the modern equivalent of the former offset print engineer

", Swoboda explains. The specialists control and monitor the printing process with state-of-the-art printing machines of the latest generation to produce stationery, brochures, admission tickets, flyers and folded flyers, calendars, envelopes, business cards and printed gastronomy supplies and even large-format advertising systems. The product variety in the online shop comprises around 1,400 products and a large selection of paper stock, paper weights and finishing options with more than 10 million versions.
