An innovative platform-as-a-service
oneclick has developed an application delivery platform, which is available as a service and allows companies to provide digital workspaces in an automated way. With the help of the platform, users can access their daily work environment from the office, their home or whilst travelling. Individual software applications or complete desktops are streamed to the user from any server location at high speed. Servers may be located in the cloud or a company’s own network. Users have access to all their software applications via a 100% web-based workspace. The platform consists of a full management environment and includes the complete infrastructure. Within minutes, new users can be set-up, their workspaces equipped with the required software applications, which can be accessed while on the move.
Multiple Awards Won
In March this year, oneclick’s application delivery platform was awarded "Best of 2016 in Cloud Computing“ by the organisers of the INNOVATIONSPREIS-IT. TÜV-IT supported the award of this year’s innovation prize. Under the patronage of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), Trusted Cloud also recognized the platform with a seal of approval. The label confirms trustworthy cloud services, which fulfil comprehensive requirements regarding transparency, security, quality and legal compliance.

"Positive customer feedback has resulted in rapid demand,” said Dominik Birgelen, CEO and one of the three founders of oneclick AG. We urgently require good staff in all areas of our business to really develop to our full potential. A particular challenge is currently to find specialists for our technical development department. But we are also looking for experienced, reliable and motivated candidates for international sales."
oneclick pursues a 3-tier sales concept. An effective key account management is to be built up in important economic regions. However, the main sales focus will be on channel sales. oneclick works again in two tiers, i.e. via distributors or systems integrators, which in turn look after end customers. The company is also looking for suitable partners internationally for this area.
“This year, our expansion focus will be on Great Britain, the USA and other English speaking countries such as Canada, Australia and New Zealand,“ explained Dominik Birgelen. “We also want to strengthen our presence in Europe and are currently working on developing Italy and Spain. When we find suitable partners, then we are prepared to expand to other EU countries in the near future.”
Working where others go on vacation
Despite its worldwide expansion drive, the heart of the company remains its own development department, which trades under the name OC Development GmbH. The innovation centre of oneclick is based in Prien at the Chiemsee in Upper Bavaria, Germany – one of the most beautiful regions in the Alps. On the banks of the wonderful Chiemsee, you experience the full atmosphere of this location. Prien unites its flair with a perfectly integrated infrastructure. The office facilities of OC Development GmbH are in close proximity to the centrally located train station. The motorway is only a few minutes’ drive away. It takes around 45 minutes to reach either Munich or Salzburg from Prien.
