OMNINET GmbH releases OMNITRACKER 9

New version convinces with user-friendliness

(PresseBox) (Eckental, )
One of the leading Software companies for IT Service Management and Project Management, OMNINET GmbH, presents its new Software release OMNITRACKER Version 9 in a complete new design. Users profit from increased usability as well as numerous system expansions.

OMNITRACKER is a .NET-based Software Platform, existing of a base system, base components and process components in order to display different business processes, such as the ITIL Pink Elephant certified solution OMNITRACKER IT Service Management Center. OMNINET has a variety of such out-of-the-box-solutions available (amongst others OMNITRACKER Project Management Center, OMNITRACKER Requirements Management Center), which can be individually adapted to client requirements and expanded flexibly. Via standardized interfaces external systems can be integrated in OMNITRACKER offline as well as online.

In order to simplify and optimize operational procedures for users, OMNINET overhauled the complete usability of the End-user Client with the Release 9. OMNITRACKER is now based on the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), a graphic-framework with which new benchmarks are set up in designing software interfaces. The new window-management enables flexible working areas and therefore complete freedom in classifying different user elements. As highlight the new drag&drop functionality was presented, with which users are able to design their individual interface easily and quickly.
As second highlight of the new version, OMNINET presented with the „Rich Edit Control“ the support of formatted texts in Windows and Web Clients. Writing and Paragraph Formatting to accentuate contents and the integration of graphics and hyperlinks can be used in Memo fields and displayed in Windows and Web Clients. Also an export of formatted texts to Crystal Reports is possible.

Further innovations and expansions of the version are a part from the new design of the interface:
- The OMNITRACKER Search Box: With this box, users can find information and tickets
quickly and easily, also when the search form is blanked.
- Parallel opening of several windows as Tab (so-called Tabbing): fast change of objects possible
- Optimized calendar and time line views
- Support of Windows 7
- Support of Internet Explorer 8.0

In order to get an impression of OMNITRACKER with its newly designed interface and capacity, clients and prospective buyers can test the current OMNITRACKER version for free. You can find detailed information here: www.omninet.biz.
