Am 5. und 6. Mai 2004 findet in Meerane die Fachtagung "Bestform in Blech - Automobilbau der Zukunft im Fokus der Zulieferer" im Rahmen des Jubiläums "100 Jahre Automobilbau in der Wirtschaftsregion Chemnitz-Zwickau" statt. Vorgestellt werden aktuelle Entwicklungen in Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft rund um die Blechbearbeitung im Automobilbau. Die Tagung richtet sich hauptsächlich an Zulieferer sowie an Werkzeug- und Formenbauer. Referenten von Automobilherstellern, Zulieferern und Hochschulen aus dem In- und Ausland garantieren Synergieeffekte für Teilnehmer aus allen Bereichen. Veranstalter sind die Technische Universität Dresden, die Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau und das IT-Systemhaus N+P Neumann + Partner aus Meerane.
