In addition to a wide range of suction, blast and transport hoses, NORRES Schlauchtechnik GmbH & Co. KG will also show special hoses for landscape upkeep like PROTAPE® PUR 327 MEMORY from June 17 to 19, 2007 at the demopark in Eisenach, Germany, the largest outdoor exhibition for professional lawn care (Hall H, Stand 1015).
Thanks to its unique memory effect, this hose survives even repeated crushing unscathed. Its innovative design and the special properties of the raw materials make it ideal for long-term use in the open, no matter how abrasive the media conveyed.

Intensive use all year long
Landscape upkeep is particularly important during the summer months: there are lawns to be mowed, clippings to be disposed of, beds to be raked and bushes to be pruned. Leaf vacuums and blowers considerably ease a gardener's life at the hottest time of the year. While a vacuum sucks in leaves and garden waste, a blower's job is to pile them up. These garden implements have to keep running without any problems all year long. Meeting this requirement presents modern polyurethane hose experts with a complex challenge. NORRES Schlauchtechnik, Gelsenkirchen, Germany, a leading manufacturer of industrial hoses and hose systems, has responded to this need by developing and marketing innovative ideas and efficient solutions like PROTAPE® PUR 327 MEMORY.

PROTAPE® PUR 327 MEMORY: absolutely crush-proof
PROTAPE® PUR 327 MEMORY is a special hose that unites a set of revolutionary design characteristics and raw material properties. It is consequently ideal for long-term duty in street cleaning and public utility vehicles and equipment – especially lawnmowers, small sweepers and leaf vacuums. It is also absolutely crush-proof because it integrates an extruded supporting spiral (external profile). Thanks to its memory effect, this innovative hose survives even the most extreme loads like repeated crushing unscathed.

Visible in poor weather and dim light
The special raw material mix with premium polyurethane Pre-PUR® is the key to PROTAPE® PUR 327 MEMORY's remarkable resistance to UV, ozone, mineral oils, petrol and numerous other media. The hose is also resistant to microbes and hydrolysis. With its strong yet flexible wall and high-quality material, it is abrasion-proof and unbeatably durable, no matter how abrasive the media conveyed. Its ability to handle broken glass, twigs, leaves, etc. without suffering in any way makes it exceptionally rugged in outdoor conditions.
If the customer requests, the supporting spiral integrated in PROTAPE® PUR 327 MEMORY can also be dyed in a fluorescent or RAL colour. The coloured hose is readily visible well into the evening or in dull weather, so that the risk of accidents is reduced to a minimum.

Not even occasional shrinkage, for example if the leaves sucked in are wet, can harm PROTAPE® PUR 327 MEMORY. Its original round shape is invariably restored as soon as it is depressurised.

If required, PROTAPE® PUR 327 MEMORY can also be supplied with a stranded earthing wire to ensure electrostatic discharge capability according to BGR 132. This prevents the delivered material from being charged with static, as would otherwise be the case with hay, for instance.

Innovation, know-how and long-term testing combined with the highest quality standards regarding materials and techniques – the proven NORRES recipe for excellent products that bring tangible benefits to users.
