Datenanalyse mit der NetProbe

Dieses Produkt aus dem Hause Nomics, Schöningen, ermöglicht die Datenanalyse auf Basis von NetFlow Informationen.

Die NetProbe kann als Hardware Probe eingesetzt werden. Sie wird in einem zentralen Datenschrank installiert, in dem sich die Layer 2- und Layer 3 befinden. Diese werden über CAT 6 Patchkabel an die NetProbe angeschlossen. Die entsprechenden Ports, auf jedem Layer 2 Switch werden als Port Mirror konfiguriert. So werden alle Daten der NetProbe zur Auswertung übermittelt.

Das Produkt NetProbe findet ihren Einsatz auch in der Bandbreitenmessung. Hierzu ist in der NetProbe ein Master-Slave Messverfahren implementiert, welches per Zeitsteuerung oder im Dialog genutzt wird.

Da die Inbetriebnahme, sowie die "shutdowns" ohne PC erfolgen, geschieht die Erstkonfiguration über LCD Display. Die komplette Konfiguration wird über einen Browser vorgenommen. Benutzer, Gruppen, Rollen als auch Rechte können über die Datenbank extern provisioniert werden.

Die NetProbe ist als Release 1.2 verfügbar und kann alleine oder mit dem NetMonitor eingesetzt werden.
