An integral part of the corporate strategy is sustainability management, which guarantees the company’s future viability and includes aspects such as resource-friendly production and ecological and social commitment. In its latest sustainability report, Nölken Hygiene Products GmbH, what has been done in 2022.
Challenges do not hold back sustainability efforts
“Despite a complicated and challenging 2022, we have not lost sight of our sustainability efforts”, states Daniel Nölken. The Managing Director is alluding here in particular to the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine and rising energy costs. These were a challenge for Nölken but not an obstacle to the implementation of its sustainability measures.

The overriding goal is and remains the greatest possible reduction in emissions. With its measures, Nölken is already on the right track. “We endeavor to continue to improve ourselves”, says Christoph Lerbs, Sustainability Manager at Nölken. “But we can only do this together with our partners along the entire supply chain.”

- 2 % of the waste is recycled
- Despite increased production volumes, waste volumes have decreased
