Die als evidenzbasiert geltenden Neurofeedback-Protokolle SCP-Neurofeedback über der Scheitelregion, SMR-Neurofeedback über dem Motorkortex und Theta/Beta-Feedback über der fronto-zentralen Region wurden in die kürzlich erschienene S3-Leitlinie zur Behandlung von ADHS im Kindes-, Jugend- und Erwachsenenalter aufgenommen. Die Leitlinie gibt eine offene Empfehlung für die Durchführung der Standard-Neurofeedbackprotokolle aus und ermöglicht es damit Ärzten, Psychologen, Therapeuten usw. die Therapie unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen bei ADHS anzuwenden.
