net mobile AG (net-m), Europe’s leading full-service provider for mobile value-added services and payment solutions, is very satisfied with this year's appearance at the most important mobile exhibition MWC in Barcelona. "Mobile Wallet" and "net-m OS", the white label solution based on Firefox OS, took centre stage at the fair and received widespread attention from customers and media.
The "mobile wallet" solution is an electronic wallet that offers its users many more and better features than traditional bank accounts or credit cards. Through the smartphone app for Android and iOS platforms, the new features are made available for the consumer in an intuitive way.
"net-m OS" is a smartphone operating system based on open standards and core web technologies. Thus, the entry barrier for app development and app monetization is significantly reduced, so that the new ecosystem becomes a real alternative to existing operating systems. With "net-m OS" mobile network operators have the opportunity to be part of this ecosystem from the start, which can be tailored to their individual needs as required.
"This year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona has exceeded our high expectations. In addition to our already successful product portfolio the two new solutions “net-m OS” and “Mobile Wallet” particularly stood out”, says Theodor Niehues, CEO of net mobile AG.
