Native Instruments hat soeben ALICIA'S KEYS veröffentlicht, eine neues Software-Instrument für R&B, Pop- und Soul-Stilistiken, das einen akustischen Konzertflügel mit herausragender Authentizität auf gängigen Computern emuliert. Die Software wurde in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Alicia Keys entwickelt, und von ihr als Hauptinstrument auf ihrem jüngsten Album und ihrer aktuellen Welt-Tournee eingesetzt.

ALICIA'S KEYS ist eine direkte digitale Nachbildung des exklusiven Yamaha "C3 Neo"-Flügels aus Alicia Keys' eigenem Studio, der vom Sampling-Experten Thomas Scarbee in zweijähriger Detailarbeit aufgenommen und auf Basis von Native Instruments' leistungsfähiger KONTAKT-Technologie in ein vielseitiges Software-Instrument umgewandelt wurde. Das Instrument basiert auf 17 GByte hochauflösendem Sample-Material und auf der ausgefeilten Emulation aller wichtigen Aspekte des Piano-Klangs wie Key Release, Haltepedal-Funktionalität und Saitenresonanzen. Die übersichtliche Benutzeroberfläche ermöglicht die gezielte Anpassung des Klangs an den spezifischen musikalischen Kontext und den persönlichen Spielstil.

ALICIA'S KEYS lässt sich auf jedem aktuellen Windows- und Machintosh-Rechner in Verbindung mit einer gängigen MIDI-Klaviatur einsetzen.
