MYNXG and TÜV Informationstechnik GmbH (TÜViT) announce the successful ISA/IEC 62443 certification of the MYNXG secure IoT platform. Thus, it fulfills state-of-the art security for Industry 4.0 as recommended by e.g., EU Cyber Security Directive. The ISA/IEC 62443 international standard represents a holistic approach to industrial security in the production and automation sector. MYNXG’s Operational Technology (OT) provides asset/operation owners with fully cyber secure cloud-based services. The key benefit are the secure by design MYNXG gateways that are integrated with OEM automation devices as Smallest Possible Cell (SPC). MYNXG takes care for all cyber security aspects and provides reliable easy to operate OT and process modelling solutions The MYNXG Secure IoT platform is compliant with IEC 62443, audited byTÜViT and confirmed with the certificate, issued by TÜV NORD CERT.

To take into account, the idea of Industry 4.0 not only functionally, but also regarding state-of-the-art security and thus the secure operation of Industry 4.0 industrial plants, MYNXG has decided to implement the internationally recognized and common cyber security standard ISA/IEC 62443 almost completely. The auditing (TÜViT) and certification (TÜV NORD CERT) were carried out by the TÜV NORD GROUP.

The MYNXG Smallest Possible Cell (SPC) is a revolutionary concept offering fully integrated secure automation solutions for PLC, Process, and Access Automation. SPC devices are secured by design and contain trusted platform module (TPM) based security. SPC are communicating via encrypted data with the MYNXG Cloud. Together, this creates an end-to-end protection for both devices and their data, capable to meet all cyber security aspects of the ISA/IEC 62443. The MYNXG Cloud Technology is protected by hardware security modules (HSM). All data aggregated by the SPC are stored encrypted at rest.
